Anyone who can tell me how much ""noise" comming from the PTC fans.

I would like to buy the PTC-300 but if the noise comming from it, is the same as my chiller from TECO it's no go

Yes, I can.

It is < 32 dBA per Fan at max Power. (from Datasheet)

The Fans runs as slow as possible and necessary to reduce the noice. They are controlled by the controlling unit of the PTC.

hi,

my tank is a 150 gallon plus sump.. also the room is cool so should need minimal if any cooling...

with that said if i go with a full chiller unit the 6 fans ..... would that mean it would more likely run slower fan speed and quieter then the unit with less modules?

i want to make sure it will be quiet....

150 gallons are 600l? And then we have to add the sump.
This is usuallay too much for a PTC-300 (depends on the circumstances)

But you are right with what you said - the more power a PTC has the slower will the fans run in average.

the tank will be in an airconditioned room year round...so i dont think it will need to pull down more then 2-3 degrees at the most...
