Hi,

I am having trouble setting up my controller. Hoping someone can help me.

I have plugged the PAB cable into a spare PAB port and into one of the ports on the controller.

As far as connections go do I need to do anything else?

I can not get the software side of things working (the part where you go into system and add the new PAB device).

The only lights that are lit on the controller are the Vortech status ( blue - constantly lit ) and PAB status (green - flickering)

Thanks,

Matt

you are trying to add the PAB vortech module via the P3 itself do you ?

because you can't add PAB devices via PLC5 , it must happen on the P3 in the PAB menu for now

Yeah I was trying through the PLC. Doh!

Thanks for the response, I will try what you said!

I tried what you said Blahenazo but the P3 says, No devices found.

I will upload a video of me going through the steps to see if I am making any errors.

Here is the video, any help appreciated.

when the PAB connection is correct the green LED ist constantly on and the blinking yellow LED indicates traffic on PAB

- is the PAB cable plugged in correctly, is the cable OK? correct ports?
- do you have other PAB devices to check if PAB from ProfiLux works in general?

That dosent look like a PAB cable it looks like the cable used on a doser/digital powerbar (RJ-11) what you have to use is a shielded network cable.

Hi guys, I bought a new PAB cable and it's now working!

Thanks for your help!

PS: this is awesome, no more manually changing modes!
