Bummer, i would have thought that since it was the most requested feature that it would be a done deal. I hate updating so really dont want to do it twice....

Do you want to remove the PC-stored description and the PII users don't have any description anymore?

If you don't want the PC-stored description just don't use it.

you don't have to wait too long, it seems nobody reported major problems with 5.08 and we can go to 5.09 next week

Well knowing that you already know what model of Profilux you are connected to it would be really easy to decide where the values should be stored and read from. This would remove a field and keep the interface easier to use and use less space :)

Is it not possible to have the Profilux just read the same descriptions as in the software, it does seem strange to enter it twice
