I intend to use the LF-ABOX. Currently i use the ABF-AP to dim the lights and to shut it off. When intensity is 0% the lights really seem to be off. Even though i read in the forums (http://forum.aquariumcomputer.com/showthread.php?2999-What-accessoires-do-i-need-with-profilux-plus-II) & the manual that with third party light bars an external shut-off is necessary to completely shut-off the electricity to the bars. Does this mean that without this 'abox', electricity is used by the lights even with the intensity set at 0% during night-time? Note, at this point the illumnation socket is switched off. In short does the LF-ABOX safe electricity?

if you use a LBF-AP and a socket from our powerbar which is switched by the corresponding illumination channel you have the same effect as you would have with a LF-ABOX
