Hi all,

I must say I am loving my new GHL Profilux II and have become very dependent on it. This dependency has me slight concerned. If the device ever went down I could run into problems with keeping my tank stable.

My Profilux is currently controlling the following:

Auto topup
PH Probe
Temp Probe controlling two heaters
ATI PM Dimmbar
3 Dosing pumps - Balling Lite

From this list the biggest issue will be controlling the lights. No light = not very happy corals.

Is there anyway to get the lights to switch on without needing the profilux?

I guess the ATI lamp won't turn on if you simply connect it with power, instead it needs the 1-10V-signal of the ProfiLux, right?
Then the only possibility to start the lights without ProfiLux would be to use our article ManuDimm. It consists of a socket
with two 1-10V-interfaces and provides the 1-10V-signal to get the lights started.
