Hi, we are attempting to connect a 2 doser external unit to a Profilux Outdoor but have been unsuccessful in getting it to work. We have added a pH/Cond card and added a second set of pH and Conductivity probes to the unit. There are 2 internal dosing pumps on the unit that are controlled by the first set of probes. The external doser is plugged into the S1-S4. From the programming manual:

6.10 Digitalpowerbars
Here you can administrate our digital powerbars resp. dosing units.
First you are asked Use digital powerbars? (this refers also to dosing units that you would like to connect digitally). If you have selected Yes, then the socket control output S1-S4 is set to digital data transfer so that at this socket, a communication with digital powerbars and dosing units is possible.

>>>This option does not exist when we go to this menu, instead we get "no action". I go up in this screen, there are two other options >"set int. State" going up one more screen is the >"Set numbering "

Since this is the outdoor unit, sockets 1-5 are preset to the built in power strip, 6-8 are the built in dosing pumps (although we are only using 2 of the plugs). Therefore, we set numbering at 9. Then we went to socket outlet function, set socket 9 to pH2 control upward and socket 10 to Cond(F)2 control upward. But there is no response from the pumps when they should be dosing. Are we missing a step?

Hi

you are right, the option "First you are asked Use digital powerbars?" is not given in the ProfiLux Outdoor since only digital devices like digital powerbars or dosing units can be connected, we have to mention this in the next version of our manual.

It doesn't seem that you are mssing a step. First you assign a new numbering to the dosing unit with "set numbering", e.g. 9
Then you program the sockets 9 and 10.

I tested this here and it worked. Could you check what happens if you switch the sockets 9 and 10 manually with ProfiLuxControl, do they respond?
