How much heat can the simu-l take? My canopy is a bit limited with the 2 250w mh's and 2 t5's. About the only place I can find to mount the simu-l is basically below the mh's....... Would that get too hot for the light stick?

Nicht gut, I can't even take the light outside in Texas to work on my canopy during the summer! :).

if you only "store" the light outside in the desert of Texas - no problem
but operating under too hot conditions will reduce the lifetime

Sorry, just a minor attempt at humor :).
