Martin_S

I do have moonlight but those are 12v controlled leds and on as soon as the illumination is off

but its not controlled by the profilux ... there just always on 100%

cool

one more question how do u habe the ballasts wired up? all taken off of one illum channel 1-10v signal?

i got 3 ballasts so i use L1-L2 and L3 to control those.

i dont think its possible to control 3 ballasts with one channel.

in theory i could start them one by one now

I have one for you, but do you really trust the Red Sea nitrite test kits? Mine kept giving me the same result over and over of 1ppm, but when tested with other test kits it comes up 0ppm.

Anyway, will see what i can do about that chart for you.

I have seen the work you have done to the RSM250 and I tink its amazing.
As a result it inspired me to try to make the effort with my RSM.
Could you please send me some pictures of how all the connections (regarding the dimmable lighting) were done (if you have any available I would like to see how all those things are connected to the profilux, e.g. did you use the evg module?)

EVSA's

Type ELXd 239.610 ref.188339
http://www.vossloh-schwabe.de/images...-109-1-851.pdf

just connect to L1 L2 and L3

I have seen these pictures. So you do not use evg module.
Do you have any picture that shows how you connect the white 6 wired cable to the profilux (sorry for the annoyance but I am not that experienced with electronics)

Martin_S

you connect the + and - from the Evsa ( ballast ) to

LBF-AP ( 2 evsa can be connected )
http://www.ghl-express.de/index.php?search=lbf-ap&sidD025B082741149CCB3E514621CEC9251=96d71d921a0859 46ea6b248098779952

this you connect to the profilux L1- L2

Or just solder to the wires direct and connect a tel shoe

As I can see in your pics you are using the dosing system, what are you dosing with it?

What is the difference between LBF-AP and EVG-AP-2F ?

Martin_S
12.01.2010, 22:23
LBF-AP is just 1-10 port from profi to EVSA

EVG-AP-2F is
1-10 port from profi to EVSA
port from 220 to EVSA

So EVG-AP-2F can also switch the EVSA off

where you need a second (timer) with the LBF-AP to switch it off

When profi goes 0% does't it switch off the EVSA?

With EVG-AP (with internal shut-off) the tubes will be shut off completely, in case of LBF-AP (no internal shut-off) the tubes can keep on glowing.
In this case, the complete shut off can be achieved through a socket of our powerbars used as a timer.

If I don't have a powerbar what will I need to create sunrise and sunset with profilux II plus and be able to shut off the tubes?

As an alternative, you could also use a common clock timer to switch the tubes completely off.
