In process of ordering a ProfiLux Plus II - Questions?

I am in the process of ordering the Profilux Plus II with the following:

Powerbar6D-D Digital Powerbar
LAN interface (PLM-LAN)
PL-Floater Level Sensor
PC connection cable

1. Still not sure if I should rather leave the 6 socket Powerbar and go for the Profiset. How is a 6 socket unit Digital powerbar compared to the 4 Socket units except for 2 sockets less?

2. Do I need to order a splitter DIM cable to use the temp. sensor and the level sensor?

the 6way digital powerbar has additionally a microprocessor which is able to switch the 6 sockets to a predefined state in the case that ProfiLux becomes defective or the communication between both is disturbed

you don`t need a splitter

Thanks for the quick reply.

Will a normal Serial to USB converter work on the GHL PC serial cable?
(My laptop has only USB), as I do not want to buy the USB interface as I am already getting the LAN interface taking up one of the 3 available ports.

yes, but in any case you need our serial cable (between converter and ProfiLux)
