What is the question/problem?
What do you mean if you talk about a glitch?
What turns on and off?

yes that's not normal... is the P3 connected to a UPS or any other device? Can you see the powersupply go out out when it happens?

it is not normal that a ProfiLux switches on and off without a reason!

the ProfiLux runs 24h 7 days a week nonstop if everything is normal

if ProfiLux doesn't run permanently: check your power supply - in some cases DIY devices which are connected to the P3 cause power failures

It doesn't happen all the time but from time to time the profilux will shut down completely and come back on right away. Its not off for more than a second.
I do have my own DIY led set up but that is connected thru the L port. Will this still cause a power failure? and how can I tell if its the Leds that are causing the problem??
Thank you, Jimmy

your DIY light could be pulling to much power, disconnect it it will be easy to test

2 options:
- P3 has been damaged through the L-port (is possible if the DIY produces a short circuit or draws too high current)
- power adaptor is defective (maybe also caused through 1.) - use other adaptor (e.g. from Expansion Box) for test

okay so i unplug PAB from P3 and take that power supply and use it for the P3?
Also does it matter that the alarm telling me the PAB is disconnected keeps going on?
thankyou.

and vice versa - just to find out if the power supply makes trouble

ok havent got a chance to do this yet but I have a question is there a way to get a power fail log to see how many times i lose power during the day when i am at work?
Also the power cord from the PAB is diferent from the profilux. Can I use the power cord from one of my dosers?
thanks Jimmy

a power fail log is not possible - when there is no power ProfiLux has no chance ti record anything ....

the doser power supplies are also OK
