Software Problem

ive downloaded the software to set up my ghl, seemed to download ok, but when i try and open it i see this error message:

and then nothing happens. ive uninstalled it and downloaded again in a different folder but the same happens !

Im using a dell laptop with windows 7 64bit.

can anybody help??

It seems, that the VC resources of your PC seem not to be compatible with the older PLC you tried to install. You could give the MS Files at:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=766a6af7-ec73-40ff-b072-9112bab119c2

or

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=2051A0C1-C9B5-4B0A-A8F5-770A549FD78C&displaylang=en#top

a try.

But please be careful not to damage newer versions of VC resources on your pc. (used by other software)

I have the same message when trying to use the v4081 software, v3081 works fine.

I tried using the downloads on the two above links with no effect

Are you also on Windows 7 64Bit?

Did you reboot the system (your pc) after installing the VC files?

Yes My machine is running windoews 7 64bit.

I have re-booted, and un-installed/re-installed the software.

Still getting the same message...................

I hadn't re-started after re-installing the GHL software....
