I not sure if it has been mentioned in detail somewhere else, but what is the scoop on .Net? I understand that it is a programing framework, but what is this going to do for us?

Thanks,
Raimie

I can't understand your question, to be honest....on what are you referencing?

.Net is a framework that is the future of microsoft development tools, .net applications are compiled for usage with the .net framework, not for special processors. So theoretical it would be possible to port the framework to every OS without changing the code of the application.

Quote from AQD_ottowa @ reefcentral http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1903070

"For me though the biggest highlight was to see the early development of the new .NET software being launched just before or just after Christmas, this by far is the framework we have all been waiting for and the ease of functionality is clear for all to see (once of course you get to see it )"

Ah ok i see...meant is the new ProfiLux Control 6. I can't tell too much at the moment, our chief maybe does a further introduction of this product if time comes.

All i can tell at the moment, is that PLC6 will be not only an update, but a completly new development in .net - we want to make the software more intuitive, a little bit more colorful, add a few innovative features and support people, who are no computer specialists with easier usage and more documentation .
