Profilux II Light and Dosing pump unit !

I need some help!

I got a Profilux II Light and a Dosingpump with 4 pumps.
I just downloaded the newest framewire (latest beta) and installed it on my aqua-comp.
I have plugged the dosing unit in to the computer by a black tiny datacable. I plugged it in the left slot on the dosing-unit and the left on the computer (L1-L2 in the manual).

I need some help with the programming of the computer for a dummie!

Hi Fredrik,

Dosing Units can't be operated with a ProfiLux II Light because the Dosing Unit needs a S-Port. Unfortunately the ProfiLux II Light has no S-Port.

euhhh, yes because it says; Feed pause for pumps, these are not dossing pumps!

What i would suggest, contact the supplier and explain the situation. Maybe they are willing to take back this unit if you purchase a Profilux II Ex?

If you look at the Matrix on the page iI showed you, you can see what I ment! It says: "Dosing pump control" and then its a "V" for Profilux II Light!

Hello Nike83,
we have checked this - yes, this is a quite misleading information. We have now corrected this in the overview - we are very sorry for this inconvenience!
The only thing we can recommend now is - as Diverdutch has already suggested - to ask your retailer to take the unit back if you take another ProfiLux that is able to control dosing pumps. Thank you and sorry again!

to clear the situation:

the Firmware is able to control dosing pumps, since the ProfiLux Light hasn't a S-port only third-party pumps can be controlled over one of the built-in switchable sockets

to avoid future confusion we changed the table of the feature overview (but the firmware is still able to control a built-in socket according to a dosing-program)
