I am planning on buying / building a dimmable LED unit and was wondering what the best method of connecting the LED to the IIIEx.
in order for the LED to be dimmable do I have to connect it through the L1L2 or L3L4 socket or can I connect the LED to a socket on a PAB powerbar?

The sockets of the PAB Powerbar can only be switched on and off, so dimming LEDs is only possible at the 1-10V-interfaces (L-ports), for more information what you need (e.g. LED drivers, adapters etc.) please have a look here: http://www.aquariumcomputer.com/Forum/showthread.php?1107-Meanwell-ELN-60-48D-LED-Driver&highlight=LED+driver

Thanks Carolin, after reading the thread about the upcomming connection between the ecoxotic stunner and the Profilux - I think that might be a good start for me.
