the easiest way to access the 1-10V-interfaces of the ProfiLux is using the product LBF-AP

Thanks for the info but I am going to be making my own controller & need to know which wires do what on the 10V cable. which is positive & which is neutral?

So I will be using Pin 3 & 2 - I want to change the voltage using these 2 pins to my DIY controller.
So if I connect my multi meter to the profilux on pin 3 & 2 I will be able to see voltage 0 - 10 when a pump pulses?

yes pin 2,3 or 5 depending on the channel you want to use like L1 = 2, L2 = 5, L3 = 2, L4 = 5 etc.
Thank you so much boboxx - so L1 & L2 can be run from one Port & L3 & L4 from another port - IE 1 Port can run 2 x 10v devices

how do I use the relay control? pin 4 "Orange" does is send a signal out is so how many volts? would i connect pin 3 & 4 to a relay to switch it on / off?

That I'm not sure, but you could mesure it... it probably stays high or low... do not connect them together

It´s designed for 12V relays - but be aware, relays should be the low power type to not destroy the contact.
Search for 'Finder 43.61' or a equal relay (12 VDC /580 Ohms)- it´s a good solution

It´s automatically controlled by the 0-10V port - it´s switched on if analog port has a value > 0%

Not sure, but I think it´s for moonlight and sunrise/sundown simulation (the GHL SIMU-L has a processor who also needs power)
Availabe power also is very low I think (equal to relay switching power)

What modulator do you use? I have pumps for that signal (independent from aquaristic), where I need such a device.

Yes, that´s right. Same for channel #2

NO, connect the relay between pin 4 (switched ground) and 1 (unregulated, approximately 12V ... 15V)
And yes Caution: outputs per charge only 20mA, do not forget free wheeling diodes!

It only works with the Jebao DC XXXX Pumps and not any other Jebao models - DCS DCP etc. ( They another technology )
But I also consider a Aquamedic DC Runner, as they have a very simple 0 - 10V port which should be easy to setup

I am a mechanical guy and really not good at electrical stuff. I have a RD5 controller, from the manual it said it can do 0-10V adjustment, using a earphone plug with the attached connection 10855
Am I correct that I should connect the "Positive - Segment 1" to Pin 2 and "Negative - Segment 3" to Pin 3 of the RJ12 connector? Thanks.

I made one using a RJ11 connector, but doesn't seems to working. Just wanted to be sure about the pin assignment, is this how it should be connected? The black cable goes to the "Positive - Segment 1" and white to the "Negative - Segment 3"?

Pin2 Profilux--->Pin1 + connector
Pin3 Profilux--->Pin3 - connector
Pin2 Profilux, if you want to use L1,L3,L5 etc.
Pin5 Profilux, if you want to use L2,L4,L6 etc.
But please use an RJ12 connector, and use the right cable for RJ12 6/6 wiring.
Then you have to assign the interfaces under 1-10V settings to the pumps

Thanks Gael and Pit. Will try yo find a proper connector for this. Just to make sure I am correct on the pin assignment, on this picture 10870, is the left most pin the Pin 1?
