Just a heads up. You will not be able to perform calibration unless you first enable the PH probe on the controller. Enabling and calibrating are done easiest on the Profilux itself, not the pc software. Once you enable the probe from the menu, only then will "calibration" show up under sensors- ph probe...

This incredible controller is surpassed only by the uselessness of the manual. Hey GHL: Pay some guy to do a workable translation please!

i agree. I cant find anywhere in the manual how to set up and calibrate a PH probe.

This is what happened...

I got my probe with my P2 and since upgraded to P3ex.

It came with a "Analytical Instruments" probe and calibration fluid pH7 and pH9.

When I set calibration value 1 to 7, it says "Calib.Value.Deffe. too small"

What should I do? please help.

Here are the pics.

This is the probe and calibration fluid i got.

This is where i set calibration value 1 to "7"

This is the answer I get back

I think, the text means "Callibration values difference too small" - the difference between value 1 and value 2 is too small.

I suggest you have clicked a little bit too fast and the value 2 still stays at 7.00 - try again

That did not work.

Then I could ony suggest to start a calibration cycle with possible values like 4.00 and 9.00 (set second one highter than 7.00!)
If you let the probe stay in normal water, the calibration will fail, but hopefully it accepts the seted values.
Then it should be possible to input the correct values 7.00 and 9.00

I'll try it

This seemed to work. But why does profilux make it so hard and with almost NO documentation in the programming guide.
