Reset button

Hi all,

I think the Profilux needs an resetbutton on the backside as on a router etc.
I had a few times problems with updating via Profiluxcontrol and had to use the flashtool.
It is VERY unconvinient that you must open the enclosure every time you use the flashtool to give it a reset.
I think the first hardware update of the Profilux needs it with high priority.
I will build a reset button myself in the small blindcover on the right part of the backside.

Hallo Ronald,
mir ist zwar nicht klar, warum Du im deutsche3n Forum english schreibst, aber egal!

Was ich allerdings überhaupt nicht verstehe ist, warum Du meinst das Gehäuse öffnen zu müssen?

Für das Flashprogramm musst Du den Profilux lediglisch ausschalten indem Du den Netzstecker ziehst.

Flashprogramm starten und dann nach Aufforderung wieder den Stecker hinein und gut!

Also das öffnen des Gehäuses ist dafür definitiv NICHT notwendig und somit ist der Reset-Button wohl auch hinfällig...

Das stimmt nicht so ganz....
beim Profilux (Plus) II (eX) muss ich auf der Frotnplatine für den Notfall-Flash einen Jumper umlegen.

Das was Du sagst trifft nur auf den PL3 (eX) zu.
