New P3ex user need help

I cannot connect to PLC by USB-USB to my pc. I have read all the instruction from this forum. I change COM port match to PLC . I tried with or without RS485 delay. I always get the error code :28 . Please Help

PLC 5.0.0.12
P3ex FW 5.00p

could you post here the important screenshots: connection settings in ProfiLuxControl, devicemanager Windows COM section?

did you try a forced change of the COM-port number in Windows?

I have force change the COM port number in Windows and change accordingly in PLC but not help

I think I know what's going on - you have a far east version of windows, and they have huge problems with enumerating the COM-ports (I think this is a problem with the charset - ANSI or WCHAR)

-> could you try it on a PC with English windows, please?

I try to find the English Windows. The new version Window7 will it compatible with Profilux?

ProfiLuxControl works with W7

It works well in English Windows. I think PLC do not work properly in the Chinese Windows
