Profilux View II

Had an issue today where we had a power outage. The Profilux View II is connected to the SMS unit which is then connected to the back of the Profilux III.

When power came up the View II will not display anything. However plugging the View II directly into the P3 it works without a problem.

Seems to be an issue with the SMS unit. Any ideas?

If you connect the View via SMS-Module... is the display blacklight of the ProfiLux View II dark/off?

That is correct.

Ok, then the problem is the SMS module. It seems - while the power returned - someting has been damaged in the SMS module.
You have to return the SMS module to check this.

I am not sure about this, a powercut usually doesn't damage our hardware

is the SMS-unit switched on? What status are the LEDs on the SMS-unit indicating?
