contactless sensor

alright i am having this for a few weeks and has failed on me 5 times


it is on the side of a acrylic sump 1/4 inch and nothing on it. it works good for one day than it doesnt work right the next

(i have looked for something that would be in the way aka bubbles or even water stain or something is there anything else i can do to get this working right )

well I also had one => on 8 mm glass it didn't work either (prolly due to the glass) . replaced it with an optical one and I'm now very happy.

I also have a floater in the tank to check if the return pump is working , that one also got stuck within 2 weeks , so regular maintenace is needed. That's why I bought the contactless but that didn't work at all.

While I was playing with it, I did notice its very sensitive on how you attach it to the tank, I had to secure it very good.

no maybe ask your reseller to have a look , maybe it's broken. As I said mine got replaced by the optical one.

it was bought from aqua digital

I think the contactless sensor is not the right choice for your purpose

it depends on where you use it and the glass material and thickness

I am sure you retailer is glad to help you
