Hello,

I'm super exicted about what I discovered today.
It was not possible to track probes on the ex box. I was very annoyed by this.
But this week I started playing with virtual probes.
And today I noticed that the virtual probes are trackable (i never looked @ the measured data tab , since I couldn't track any probe anyway)
So I made virtual probes of all my probes that are on my Exbox => eh voila the probes are trackable on the ex box!!!!

you just need to get your head around the names switching, and the bunch of probes, and the displays is a bit confused (it could be of my 1 minute testing interval ) also Don't know if this will confuse the logic (but I hope not ) since the virtual probes get the exbox probes names in the measured data screen (don't know what this will do in the P3 memory)

look at the images.

You mean that you couldn't see the probes from your ex box through the PC?
And you had to made virtual probes to make this possible?

yes and no :)
The probes could be managed and everything with plc , or the controller. But there was no measured data for the probes on the exbox. So in fact there was no history whatsoever.
so what's the point of having the probes then ? if I can't see what my ph does in the middle of the night etc....

me and probably many other Exbox users ,wanted this already since the release of the exbox :-)
it's even in the fw history (not yet supported part)

Version 5.00p
new
- compatibility of the web interface to the common web browsers improved
- direct login for all file types possible, not only for HTML (e.g. needed for iPhone apps)
- digital powerbars / dosing units can be connected at S5-S8, too (with that it is possible to use outputs 25-48)
- changes in display level diagnosis
- TCP/IP automatic retransmit when having a bad connection
known Bugs
- none
not yet supported
- measurement recording for sensors in Expansion Box
- analysis of the measured currents in Powerbar-PAB
- settings with Webserver, at present oly status display
- several network services
- PAB-administration over ProfiLuxControl, now only on the device
- 16 current pumps, at present only 4

So, you created a virtual probe for every probe of the ex box and you can now have the history data?

Matthias, when will this function be ready?
I am waiting for my ex box for my support aquarium and I (and suppose all the ex box users) am very intresting in history data.

Hi Matthias,
Any news?

Almost what you do mean ?
the probes on the exbox are trackable since the 5.01 without making virtual probes of them.

Yes, they are trackable but data can not be saved.

So, the question to Matthias was when history data from expansion box will be ready.

O.K. Guys,

Sorry for the missunderstanding!

Something went wrong in updating the Profi III, thought I had 5.01 on it but I didn't.

Data from expansion box can be saved now (waiting for name changing of the probes :D).

Thanks!
