summertime change ?

(I ask this question for someone else , but he doesn't understand english)

Do you need to do something to trigger the summertime change ?
His P3 was still exactly 60 minutes late today.

I think mine was also late but I've already updated my time so I don't remember anymore , or do you need to use DCF to have this feature ?

the time only adjusts automatically if a DCF receiver is present (and the needed radio signal, of course)
