Profilux II alarm sounding

Hi

I have just installed my first ProfiLux II Plus So far I only have the temperature probe attached, and a 4 dose pump unit.

The alarm continues to sound I have disabled the temperature alarm even though it is within the tolerable range.

I have disabled the PH alarm even though no pH probe is installed.

1. Is there any way of telling what is setting off the alarm?
2. Any other suggestions are welcome, as I do not see any other alarm settings in the menu : confused:

in the first line of the ProfiLux "Alarm:" should be blinking, after this the reason for the alarm must be mentioned

Ok the first line says ALARM !!!

The second line it scrolls through ..

it seems you have an older firmware, in newer versions the alarm reason is shown

but I can see the problem: pH *** means that there is no probe (or a bad probe)
even when the limits alarm is off ProfiLux checks if a probe is bad (no probe = bad probe)
-> disable the pH-input

Matthias, Thanks I have disabled the probe till I get one and the alarm has stopped. :D

Shame about the older firmware joys of living in Australia :rolleyes: at least we get nice coral here. ;)
