Hi guys,

Can any one recommend and affordable calcium reactor setup where I can use my Profilux Plus II to make all the neccessary controls.

I have never used a Ca RX before so this is completely new territory, my ph is getting quite low 7.8 atm so I'm thinking of a trip to the LFS soon.

Do I need bubble counters and gauges etc etc.

Thanks for your thoughts
Paul

What are you using to dose Calcium and Alk at the moment?
The problem is a calcium reactor will lower you Ph even more as you are delivering approx 6.5 ph into the tank. You need to have a PH of 8

Korellin is a very good well build reactor. You can get cheaper ones but you get what you pay for. There are some other good brands but i have not used tem so i cannot recommend.

You need Ca Rx with bubble counter and PH probe.
Co2 Reg + bottle
Profilux Solenoid.
PH probe in Ca reactor
Small feed pump or Peri pump
Then set the Profilux to control the PH to min 6.5 in reactor switching the solenoid on/off

What are you tank perameters.
