No temp Reading

My Profilux 3 ex has a temp probe attached to the unit.
The front screen reads as follows:

Temp 1 *

when connected to a computer the probe reads accurately. It just doesnot show on the profilux unit.

"***" indicates a bad probe or that the probe is not plugged into the correct probe
I think the shown value in ProfiLuxControl is not correct

Hello Herr Gross.

There is only one * which is consistent with the cooling function being triggered.

I have tried a spare probe they both seem to act the same (ie probably not probe)

When factory settings is restored the temp 1 reading appears again as :

Temp 1 28.5 * (numerical example) and works normally.

However I loose all my set paramaters.

The problem seems to occur when I try to save my loaded set of parameters and the following error pops up in a box "settings not saved profilux not connected", yet it is.

Specificaly this occurs after Maintenance/Pumps settings are adjusted.

I will try to identify exactly what setting does this.
