Can Slimline 50cm fit on Dennerle Nano Scaper's Tank 55L?

Hi,

As I saw on GHL page, actual length for Slimline 50 cm is 44.7cm.

So, can I fit Slimline 50 on Dennerle Nano Scaper's Tank 55L which is 45cm?

Has anyone done this?

Hi,

I don‘t think so, 44,7 cm is the length of the body, you have to add the length of the brackets on both sides. Even if you use a flat bracket you will need the space for the cable between the Slimline body and the glass pane. Recommanded for tanks between 39 and 50 cm is the slimline 40.

As Volker suggested, the Slimline 40 would be more suitable for your 45cm aquarium.
