After finally upgrading my system to a PIII EX, I no longer have a LAN link. It will not get an address via DHCP. It does not work if I set it statically. I have version v5m. There are no active link lights on the back of the LAN card, should there be? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Raimie

too less information to give any advice
network topology? IP? settings in ProfiLuxControl

general hint: after changing network settings ProfiLux must reboot, then the changes will apply

I have a basic star topology. The IP ranage is 10.10.12.0. My router hands out DHCP addresses. It will not recieve a DHCP address. I have statically set the address as well and I can not find it on the network. I am using the same cableing that I used for my PII. It worked 1h prior to plugging in my upgraded PIII. I have tried several reboots. The PIII does see the network card in the system settings. Are the link lights on the back of the ethernet port active? None are lit up for me.

I think I solved it, the Cat5 cable was not properly plugged into the back of the LCD screen.
