hi guys

been thinking about getting a contoler for my set up .... which is

a juwel vision 180 with

2 x aqua ray 500
a extrenal filter
2 powerheads
2 heaters
tunze nano wave box
aqua medic nr 400

whats bourght this on is id like to control the nr 400 for the max nitrate removal i can get
i know the nr 400 needs a special probe that screws in to the unit im sure it has a bnc plug on it would it work with this system?
so i want to know if i got a system ither than aqua medics ine is this possable


im not too worried on the cost i just want the best well up to a point

id like to control the aquarays, heater (2),the power head and nr400 also id like to moitor and adjust ph , monitor temp,salinaty may be control too,the nitrate level,and any thing else that will help me keep my 180 in balance


so ideas please as im a tad confused.com

a nitrate probe can't be connected to the ProfiLux

can this prob part number 220.19 redox probe by aquamedic be used

I don't know this for sure - possible if it has a BNC plug

why don't use our redox probe?

the probe in question has a bnc on it and it has a 13.5 mm thread on the outside to screw it into the nr 400 can you confirm if this probe works or does your probe have this thread? otherwise i will have to look at other systems

use 12mm cable gland adapter with PG13.5 thread then use the GHL Redox probe

I think steve at reef dreams UK used to get these in for clients.

well guys i have ordered

a 3 ex pab starter set
and lots of extra goodies
so stand by for the dumb questions after i have picked it up next week
