I would like to know if it is supported and possible to write code that can change the configuration of the PIII from the PC?

This would be like re-building the Profilux PC software that is supported from profilux.

My reasons are to build an iPhone App that does the configuration in a more graphical nature for both home-automation and aquarium automation from an end-users task-base prespective.

I do not just want to communicate to get data, I want to push-configuraitons such as timer configs, socket configurations, etc, etc to the unit from the iphone or pc software (or mac).

Is this possible?

Thanks

Thanks! I have been racking my frigg'n brain trying to find out where the SDK is...

I know Xiaan, he lives in my town, we shop at the same LFS. I've reached out to him as well to get some ideas...

With the soon-to-be relased iPad, I think the platform is finally complete for one heck of a sexy piece of software to drive this system...

I'll check out your link as well.... but thanks very much for confirming!!! That is excellent news!

Ahh.. thanks... I've never programmed PHP before, but the code is straight forward enough.. thanks so much for that link.. helps with my understanding.

Cheers,
