Level sensor for skimmer cup

Hi

Got a spare level sensor from ghl, and thinking of use that for controlling skimmer cup.
Problem is my float switch came with a socket how do make it skimmmer cup, just cut the wire ?

That seems to be an older version float sensor. Test it out first to make sure it's reacting when you manually move the float up and down.

Yes, you can cut the cable and re-wire it if you are comfortable doing that.
