I have a Fluval E Heater and trying to control it through GHL. It seems not able to control the heater. I have GHL set at 78 degrees Fahrenheit and GHL temp probe reading 76.7; Heater reading 76.5.

Check your settings, make sure the temperature probe settings are correct. The steps for setting up heater control can be found here:

If your hysteresis is not set correctly, it will not trigger ON the heater when it needs to.

I did that and seems that heater is always on and temp never changes. I may disconnect from GHL and try it without control to see if it's heater. Are all heaters compatible though?

Any heater is compatible. If it has a built-in thermostat, you need to have that properly set so it does not turn OFF the heater before the ProfiLux tells it to turn OFF.
