Lanthanum Chloride Dosing

Hi i have read that LC dosing can change the PH of the water ive dosed some yesterday and this morning notice a jump of 0.8 in my KH could this cause a miss calculation in the KH i tested with Salifert and it was 8.2 with that test kit.

pH and KH do have a relation to one another. If the LC was dispensed around the time of the KH test, a decent amount may have been taken up for the KHD water sample which could have altered the end result.
