Mitras LX7206 spread/pattern.

I am mounting my Mitras LX7206 and am curious about the spread.

I know it is 35"x23", but is that "rectangle" shape of the light parallel to the rectangle shape of the fixture or is it perpendicular (or rotated 90deg) to the shape of the fixture?

That is the spread from the light left to right when positioned the long way.

So the attached file - Do the lights need to be rotated 90 degrees to get proper coverage over the length of the tank?

Your current placement will spread the light 36" left to right and 24" front to back for each fixture.
