Maxi Doser - Push or Pull for 3m Height Difference?

Hi All,

I'm using a Maxi to move water between tanks that have a 3m height difference (and only 3m horizontal difference). Would like to know the best location of the Maxi that places the least strain/wear on the motor?

Based on other's experience, where would it be best to place the Maxi - at the bottom to push the water up or at the top to pull the water? Or does it not matter?
