Transfer settings from 3.1 eX to 3.1T eX?

I currently have a P3 eX and have exported the .par files. Is there a way to transfer the exported files from the P3 eX to a factory defaulted P3.1T eX? Both systems are running the 6.29 firmware, and the P3.1T is factory defaulted. When I attempt to transfer the .par files, I get an error stating they are not compatible. Is there any way around this?
