Hello friends,

An exercise for us all to learn, if you're a Triton and KHD user, please provide some input to help guide less experianced people by answsering the below.

Do you KHD test before you Triton dose? (such as 30mins before etc) Yes, 30 minutes before
Control or measurement only? Measurement only right now, I have much to learn
If measurement, Add on or adaptive? N/A
Biggest lesson learnt using KHD? Learning to accurately calibrate dosing heads is practically an art form, good quality graduated cylinder or precision scales are needed.

Biggest lesson learnt using KHD?
Calibrate the probe and heads frequently. The alarm is a handy feature for when something fails or something is wrong (on the ProfiLux).

However, as you dose 17 times a day it really doesn't matter, you're practically dosing all the time anyway.

Little and often sounds like a good approach :)

Yeh I get where you’re coming from.

When I started I was dosing 24 x 0.5ml but found the KHD was struggling to keep it steady. I changed to 12 x 1ml and had more stable readings. Over the last six months I’ve had to increase the volume due to growth etc.

Hei, just set up my KHD and don't realy know how to program the Dosingpumps for the Add On Mode. I would realy like to let the KHD correct all 4 Dosingpums from my Triton solutions. But what do i have to fill in?

May I ask some question that might not exctly relate but seems you guys can properly answer:

Im about to start using KH Director with the dosing pumps.

If I setup "automatic dosing" on all 4 Pumps it will tell the dosing unity to dose at exact the same time.....

Example:

Dose Core 1 3x a day 6ml --> set to auto dose = end up in 1st at 00:00 2nd at 08:00 and last at 16:00

Dose Core 2 (of course same amount and times) ends up in exact same dosing times

What will happen? Will all 4 pumps dose at the same time? Its recommened to dose 3A and 3B with 5 mins gap.

Is there any control / function where I can setup that automaticially or do I need to change the dosing times manually?

Darkie,

You can add a gap to each dose by going to each pump channel and specifying the Always dose at time. This is explained in the dosing pump manual, resource guide, and dosing pump how-to video.

Awesome thanks, found it!

In order to habe the same amount of ml dosed I gave all dosing units the same settings which are: add-on-rule and the same settings in the parameters. Can you confirm this is gonna end up in dosing exact same amounts in dependence to the KH ?

Yes, as long as the normal dose schedules are identical.
