Doser above or below KH director?

Hi, just received my KH director and doser set.

This is probably a dumb question but why do all the pictures I’ve seen have the doser below the director? It looks like the tubes will kink. Is it not better to put the doser above the director? The fluid path looks shorter and less bendy that way?

The tube for the reagent must be routed steadily upwards from the reagent bottle to the KHD to prevent the formation of air bubbles. Therefore, the KH Director should be placed above or next to the doser.
