Exactly how do I upgrade my firmware on a P3

I have a P3 with firmware 5.00g installed. Can you give me exact instructions on how to upgrade the firmware? I can connect with USB to Serial cable but not straight USB.

I need step by step instructions. I need to know...

1) What version of ProfiluxControl to use
2) step by step on how to use it.

I tried with using ProfiluxControl 5.0.0.5 from the file menu and chose "Firmware-Update Profilux" chose firmware "Profilux3_V500j.mhx" it seem to work while the message stated "erasing firmware" then I got the error message "ERROR while transmitting firmware: FLASHERASE – No response - 8"

I followed the link.. then tried the download link in the instructions and I get a website error.

Error 404 - Not found
