Hello everyone.
I jump right in.
I have a maxi doser that feeds my nitrate reactors (2 filters) with water. As for now I use the switch settings so that each motor starts and stops after a specific timer.
For example pump 1: starts after 7 seconds and stops after 3 seconds. - It works at full speed.
My question is easy. Would it be better for the pump if it worked longer periods but with less speed?
For example: Continuous work on a lower setting/half speed.
What wears most on the pump?
