I plugged in my doser 2.1 to try to set it up with my smart phone and the ghl connect app, but it won't show up on my WiFi networks and all it does is blink white which indicates it is connecting to myghl, but I haven't set it up yet?

The blinking white logo means, that it is trying to get access to myGHL; constant white means configuring network.
See: What is the meaning of the blink and color codes of the GHL Logo?: https://www.aquariumcomputer.com/questions/what-is-the-meaning-of-the-blink-and-color-codes-of-the-ghl-logo/

If this is a brand new Doser 2, it should have come unconfigured and shows an open Accesspoint called GHLDOSER2 in your wifi environment.

Here is also a video-tutorial showing the setup:

It is not a new doser. I got it used from a friend. That is probably why it does not have wifi on as default. I will probably need to borrow a PC laptop to get into it and reconfigure the wifi so I can connect with my smartphone.

I only have a Chromebook which probably won't work as it is not really a full computer.

If the doser was not set to default settings, it will still try to connect to the original wifi network which is no longer present.
In this case, you will need to connect over USB to set the device to default settings and configure the doser to connect to your wifi network.

Thanks for all the help! I was able to get the doser set up with a PC laptop and I can now access it and control it from the ghl app on my phone.
