Important note:

After customers had reported that their new magnetic stirrer was not working on a GHL Doser 2, we investigated this and came to the following findings.

The supplier of the motors used in the magnetic stirrer has supplied us with the successor model of the motor, unfortunately without asking us or informing us.
The motors are basically the same - only with respect to controllability by PWM, here they differ.

Here's the problem: The GHL Doser 2 (all versions) controls the speed of the magnetic stirrers via PWM, but the PWM method used no longer works with the new motors.

Fortunately, we were still able to find a solution: The Doser supports from firmware 1.30 both PWM procedures (for recent and for new motors). Unfortunately, it was not possible to find a PWM method that works for both models. We added the option to select the used stirrer model for each stirrer output.

So:
1. If a magnetic stirrer does not work, it could be a new motor (Model 2).
2. To get a magnetic stirrer model 2 running, the doser must be updated to 1.30.
3. If the doser is controlled by a ProfiLux, it must also be updated (6.38 or 7.16).
4. To make the settings, GCC 1.1.1.8 is required.

New firmware and GCC is already written, we are still testing, everything comes out for the weekend.

Why did we not notice in the final test of the magnetic stirrers that there are problems?
Because we test with constant 24V, not via the doser. Therefore, all magnetic stirrers worked, but at the customer the problem came up.

In GCC here adjust the model (if magnetic stirrer does not work try different model):
11015

Hi,

Please, also fix stirrer manual override of Doser2 SA used in slave with Profilux. (Still not working since 2 years.)

Thank :-)
