I have been searching threads for info on enabling the Webserver - is this enabled by default on the P3. I can't find any setting to enable so i assume it is !
I can connect to the P3 using IP using Profilux Control Software - however I cannot browse the webserver using HTTP..

I can browse to other devices on my network including router / wireless access point so HTTP must be ok ... now a bit lost for ideas ....

I am also rather limited by my router ( BT Hub ) and it's naff interface - not sure that I can set up port forwarding on it !!! I may have to dig out my old netgear router ...

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Hi Paul,

Assuming you know the IP address of your profilux, it would normally be 192.168.1.xxx then you should be able to type http://192.168.1.xxx/ where xxx is a number into a browser and reach the interface.
If that isn't working then in profilux control click on system in the tree menu and check that the webserver is set to port 80.
If you still can;t connect then it will be down to a firewall issue and you can test this temporarily by disabling your virus and windows firewall, remember to re-enable after testing, and adjust the firewall to allow http requests internally.

Hi Steve,

Many thanks for the info.... all sorted - webserver was set to port 1 ( default setting I guess) changed to 80 and now working ok ..

Also fixed problem with ESC button - there was a small fragment of plastic in the hole in the front plate !

Very pleased with the P3 and your excellent service in getting these out to us over the Christmas period..

Regards, Paul
