In the strict compliance with the guidelines of the KHD manual, I made the first test and the test result was: 7.5°dKH. It's exactly the same as the result I used to test with Salifert! KHD is great! However, the result of my regular test the next morning was 8.3°dKH. After thinking, I found that the only difference is that the timing test no longer takes the following steps: 1. Vent internal reagent tube ...; 2. Flush measurement cell .... So, after I completed the above steps, the measured result was: 7.6°dKH; then, I tested it again and the result was still: 8.3°dKH. I don't know why this is, but the conclusion is: I want to get the same result as Salifert. I must perform the initial cleaning process before each manual test: 1. Vent internal reagent tube ...; 2. Flush measurement cell .... So I can get the result I want. I would like to ask GHL's servic to consider: Is there any possibility of automatic timing test improvement?

You have the option to modify the KH test result if you strongly feel the salifert readings are more credible.

You can also recalibrate your KHD probe and see if the KHD results registers a reading closer to the Salifert kit.

you don't need to do the initial steps every time, this makes no sense

you do this once and the the KHD is good to work

1 or 2 measurements after initial setup may differ from the real value, needs time to adjust

-> so your first measurment was a bit too low, the 8.3 masurements seem to be more correct

-> if you want to see the same value as test kit shows you can manipulate the shown value

but don't do the initial steps again and again ...
