I try to update firmware with gcc1.1.1.3 from 7.08 to 7.12

Theres a quick box that pops up with the text "Please reset the micriocontroller on the userboard. Then press OK button"

Theres a ok buttom to press but after 1 second the dialog box dissapear.

Then after a few seconds "Error: update cant be started! Reset device by disconecting it from power a few seconds"

Tried a power reset on P4 and rebooted pc, but still the same.

After a power reset P4 reboots with firmware 7.08 and seems to be working as it should.

ANy tips for updating it to 7.12 ?

I always have the same problem. Just do a emergency update. The resetbutton is in the p4. Have to open it

You have windows 7. The bootloader drivers that is included is not supporting win7, that's why it fails

Its was more directed towards the thread starter :) If you have windows 10, did you make sure you have the latest GCC and updated your drivers with the drivers in the "drivers" folder of GCC?

For all Win7 users with a Profilux 4, the appendix contains the appropriate driver with an installer for Win7, if it is not needed here either.
