Can you tell me the difference of the 2 cables you make to connect Tunze Streams as I am knew to this and want to connect 2 x Tunze 6095's which will eventually be replaced with 2 x Streams 3's

Hello,

There are 2 0-10v outputs on each port L.
The PL-0087 cable allows to use the first output and the PL-0088 the second.
So in summary, to connect a single Tunze pump to an L port you can use PL-0087 or PL-0088 (if port L is port L1/L2, with PL-0087 the pump will be controlled by L1 and with PL-0088 the pump will be controlled by L2)
To connect 2 pumps to the same port L you need PL-0087 + PL-0088 + PL-0096.

To add to what Gael said:

Tunze 1 cables are for odd numbered L-channels; L1, L3, L5, etc.
Tunze 2 cables for for even numbered L-channels; L2, L4, L6, etc.

Right I see, many thanks :-)

Sorry, just final confirmation as I am about to order P4 Megaset with these cables. I want to control 2 Tunze stream pumps independently so I eed to order a Tunze 1 and a Tunze 2 cable?

If you want to use two L-port, yes, if you want to use only one L-port for your two pumps you need also PL-0096.

Thanks, I want to control 2 pumps completely independently so I assume I need to use two L-ports? Just to confirm, as I do not yet own a Profilux 4 yet, when you refer to L-Ports, you mean the 1-10v interfaces ports (yellow port connectors)?

Hi,
A L-port is a yellow port and it have two 0-10 channels.
To connect 2 pumps to the same port L you need PL-0087 + PL-0088 + PL-0096 and yes you will be able to run 2 pumps completely independently.

Reference the above, I could just order two cables (PL-0087 + PL-0088) and plug them into two of the three different L-Ports and still control them independently? Just seeing if I can get away from ordering a third cable if I dont need it!

Apologies for all the questions but I have never owned an aquarium computer and I just want to be sure I order the correct equipment!

Yes, you can even take two PL-0087 or two PL-0088 if you use them on separate L-ports.
In summary, on separate L-ports, the control is forcely independent.
On the same port, PL-0087 and PL-0088 are mandatory, because two PL-0087 or two PL-0088 would operate on the same 0-10V channel (the odd channel: L1, L3, L5,... for two PL-0087 or the even channel: L2, L4, L6,... for two PL-0088)
