I am trying to set up my KHD and the KH menu does not appear on the left hand side.
I am running a P3 with firmware 6.31 and the latest version of GCC. I can see the KHD on the PAB under system but dont have the menu on the left hand side for KH:confused:

Hello,
as I posted a few days ago I am still working on the firmware update 6.32 for ProfiLux 3. I think it will be done in 1 or 2 days. I will upload the updated ASAP.
Thanks for understanding and your patience.

your doser has min. firmware 1.26 as the manual requires?
the filling level of the reagent pump is sufficient?
firmware 1.26 just updated to 1.27, dosing reagent level is at 498ml
I can not vent internal tube, flush cell or empty cell, the only button that works is the calibrate probe button
the logo is flashing yellow/blue
Hi,
Exactly same for me :-/
Thank

what means "does not work"?
buttons are greyed out and can't be pressed or buttons are normal and can be clicked but nothing is happening?
your screenshot is not helpful, the buttons in question are not visible

and the pump numbers are correct?
1,2,3 are the actual numbers of the doser used for KHD?
I can't answer for gino555, but for me my setup, it's pumps 6,7,8, settings are good and calibration done.
Do you find the probleme Matthias?
The pumps are working when you dose manually from the ProfiLux 3 (not from the Doser) in GHL Control Center?

Yes for me.
my pumps are 1,2,3 and can dose from the "Dose now" button in GCC. i also calibrated the pumps and seemed to be fine. pump two came out at 6ml flow rate (on slow) for the reagent not sure if that is normal?

6ml seems a bit high to me, I expect something around 4.5ml

just to be sure: your P3 is updated to firmware 6.32 and you use GCC1.1.1.0?

just updated to GCC 1.1.1.0 and it is still the same. buttons change from grey to blue when I click them but no response from the doser or KHD
What can we do to help GHL to diagnose the problem?
Someone has KH Director successfully working with P3?
Thank

Someone has KH Director successfully working with P3?
Yes. Me.
Our 2nd Level support will contact you directly for further support.
Could you two please send us your Settings.par file to support@ghl-kl.de. To get the file go to "Backup and restore->Transmit all settings from ProfiLux to file" in GHL Control Center.

I have the same problem as the other two .
Cannot vent internal tube. Cannot flush measurement cell and cannot empty measurement cell.
Im using P3 with 6.32 firmware and using latest version of GCC.
I think I have done everything correctly . I will send my settings to your email also
I have checked your settings on two different ProfiLux 3 and the KH Director buttons did work.
Could you please check if GHL Control Center is asking for activating the controls again when connecting and if yes click on 'Yes' or on the display of the P3 if there is a new menu entry for enabling the controls again.
You could also try to reset the PAB settings by clicking "System->System reset" and reassign the PAB devices (maybe try with KH Director and Doser 2 only first).

Have reset PAB and just re asigned KH Director and Doser, it made no difference.
I did not see any message on the p3 screen asking for activation
Reset PAB and just re-asigned KH Director and my two Dosers, same problem.
No message for activation too.
(And had to check settings and calibrate all sensors of expansion box after having re-asigned expansion box, do not do that if you not have time for that after. And also all measurment data lost.... Use reset pab with caution!)
Waiting for months and still can't use 10 days after having received it... so frustrating ^^ :-)

If you have backups of settings and sensor data you can reload them after resetting PAB without loosing anything
Settings sent.
Can I leave the ph probe in the unit? As I have now switched the unit off and removed the probe and replaced the cap.

Hi
let us first rule out that the P3 firmware included in GCC is different to our final release.
Could you update your P3 with the version attached? Is still 6.32, but maybe the file in GCC was not OK.
Let us go from there. If this was not the reason we must find the differences between your and our system, our system works perfectly.

Ok , have done some extensive testing tonight , which ranged from being slightly worried to very worried to very pleased !
I wanted to carry on testing until I got two consistent results.
Results below
4.1
5.1
7.3
10.2
12.9
8.4
8.4
So I will take the last two as been accurate as they correspond to my test kit reading.
After the first test the status box showed an error " not enough reagent" even though it showed as been full. I cured this by disabling KH Director and then re enabling.
The only problem I have left is that the record measurement tick box is greyed out.
How quickly will the reagent evaporate ? I have removed the cap and put the tube in the bottle. Do I need to partly seal it?
Matthias

the first 2-3 measurements may be wrong if there has been too much reagent left in the measurement cell after priming the reagent tube
maybe you did not flush the measurement cell after priming (or not enough) or there was just too much reagent in the cell due too much priming
if the values are too high then there was maybe air in the reagent tube, see also hints about the reagent tubing in the manual
when the values settled now in a reasonable area then all seems to be OK

the filling level of the reagent pump must be > 50ml

not so fast, actually I have open bottles all the time here while testing
some use just some tape to seal it

measurement recording is supported only for P4 at the moment, it will be added for P3 and GHL Doser 2 with the next updates, I had no chance to get this done until now
Hi,
It’s work for me too now with 6.33 :-)

Maybe you add too many kh?
You test after added KH not before, test also before for help to understand.

I have just set it up.
I would double check your setup matches the instructions.
Have you set the dosers to the correct speed and calibrated them. Is the number of the doser configured correctly in KHD
When you click on KHD to take a measurement , what exactly happens?

I was very meticulous and followed the instructions to the T. I tried another measurement and read 11.1 and my Hanna Alk checker read 8.1. Will today if the reading gets better. I am using 50ml sample volume. Should I go back to the 80ml default?

Mine has always been set to default 80ml so I can't comment on how it would effect the readings. I had to do about 10 measurements before it settled down to give constant readings.

Thanks for the advice. I have been sampling for a day now and have been consistently getting measurements around 6.6 (four samples). But my corresponding Hanna Checker reading is 7.8. Is this too big a discrepancy? What would cause a low measurement. My sample volume is 80ml.

Make sure there is no air bubbles in the reagent line and also make sure that the vent pipe is not submerged in water so it can't suck water back into KHD.
Are you sure that your Hanna reading is accurate?
I checked my salifert test kit and it was reading .7kh high
might be worth getting a reference solution to check accuracy of the Hanna

I replaced my Hanna Reagent and is now consistent with my KHD measurement. I am also ordering a backup alk measurement for redundancy. Keep fingers crossed.....right now I am loving KHD directxor!
