How do I download the app?

I know it sounds daft, but I cant download the app. On my android phone I started my browser, went to the down load directory and it says downloading. However I get no 'percentage conplete' and it sits there for ages before failing.

Should I be downloading it in a different way?

Hello, I downloaded the app via computer and then sent the file as an email to the smartphone. so i could install the app then.
