How many LX7's over a Standard 120 gallon (4'x2'x2')?

As the title asks, how many Mitras LX7's over a standard 120 reef?
Corals will be mostly SPS with some LPS and softies as well.
How high should they be hung?
Any feedback appreciated.

Hi Rob,

Thank you for your interest in our LX7.

For your size tank, 2 fixtures will provide sufficient coverage. If you do not have a center-brace on your tank, 3 would be even better. Having 3 will provide you the flexibility to place SPS at the ends of the tank and provide even more even-light distribution.

We recommend the fixtures be hung 8-12" away from the water.
