Hi all,

I appreciate that myGHL is read only at the moment, but I'm having issues connecting my P4 to myGHL at all.

First question - what does the wifi modus mean? It's not clear what client (infrastructure) or access point actually mean?

I believe I've managed to connect my new GHL correctly to my wifi correctly, but whatever settings I choose I can't connect to myGHL.

Settings are as follows on the control centre:

8895

8896

The P4 changes between a blue light and a while light on top (always flashing), and the led to the right of the wifi writing on the front of the P4 is constant green.

8897

8898

As I mentioned the top light is always flashing blue or white (it changes between the two colours every minute or so).

However, no matter how I change the wifi modus all I get it the following message from myGHL:

8899

Please help

Thanks
Andy

Client mode allows you to connect the P4 to your WiFi network.

Access point mode allows you to give the P4's built-in wifi hotspot a name and designate a password for this hotspot.

In the Access point column, you can give the P4 hotspot a name and password. These are not required fields.

Set the P4 to Client & Access point, disconnect from the P4 for 20-30 seconds, then reconnect, and see what IP address was assigned to your P4. Once you've done that, add the device to your myGHL account.

Thank you Vinny. It still took a couple of attempts before it connected but it had now worked.

MyGHL itself doesn't seem to be working very well, timing out on places sensors not showing correctly, etc...but I think some of those problems are already known as teething problems.

Hi,

Just to be correct.
Client mode : SSID needs to be the already existing SSID from my Router. Correct?
Accespointmode : SSID can be somthing like GHLP4accespoint. Correct?

Hello Raymond,

yes, you are absolutely correct.

With the above assumptions i can't login on my device via myGHL while it says that it is online.

I have the same problem. I have updated firmware and has the p4 connected wireless. In myGHL the online state is greyed out. I tried everything. Sometimes the wifi LED blinks green and sometimes light constant. Most often it blinks. Is this a generel error?

myGHL ID is located in the Communication settings page in GCC.

You can see exactly how a device is connected to myGHL by following the steps in this video:

Hi,

I have problems connecting to profilux via myghl. In the display of profilux appears the icon myghl correctly, but on the web appears in green one second and then black.

Hello EgaReef,

do you mean that it does not complete the loading process and
stays in the state your screenshot shows?
