First of all hi to you all,
I would like to make my Red Sea 250 lights dimmable so I would like to know if purchasing a profillux II and 3 dimmable 2X39watt ballasts (to replace the old ones) is the only things I need to achieve my purpose?

I recommend also the product "EVG-AP", switches the mains power on/off and makes wiring easier

if you want to dim: a ballast with 1-10V-interface

you can program one of the sockets of our powerbar to be activated if the water level is too low

then you can switch a solenoid or a pump to refill

A countainer to hold the water and a pump to pump the water from said container to top up the tank. The pump is plugged into an outlet on your powerbar.
So items required:
1 x water container
1 x water pump
1 x spare socket/outlet on your profilux powerbar
Length of hose from container to sump or display tank.

Be sure to install the top-up system in a way that does not allow the water to back syphon/drain your sump or display tank.
